After finally finishing unpacking her office and finding her quarters to ensure her effects had been dropped off Skye made her way through the hustle and bustle of the ship towards sickbay to get her other check ins dealt with.
As the doors swooshed open for her and she entered she had a chance to look around, sickbays in general all seemed to have the same basic layout and smell, it was the sound that always got her. Each ship had a slight different tone to the chatting and the noise of the machines, despite the fact that many were similar conversations, if you closed your eyes and listened she was always convinced you could tell each sickbay apart. Like a composer listening to different players playing the same piece of music each one had subtle differences that made it unique. She kinda loved it.

It was standing like this with her eyes closed that a passing NE Nurse found her and asked with the sort of concern you did feel seeing a vibrantly coloured officer in tea, standing randomly in a section of the ship. “Are you alright ma’am?”

Skye opened her eyes and smiled somewhat embarrassed at being found such. She gave a slightly breath to clear the feeling and answered. “Yes fine thank you. I’m reporting for my boarding physical, could you point me in the direction of someone who can help?” She asked.

The Nurse pointed the Counselor in the direction of Buckingham, who was just about to go into his office. Just before entering the Nurse gesticulating had caught Tom’s eye, so he approached the pair.

“Is everything okay here?” Tom asked in a jovial manner.

Thomas Buckingham - CMO

Skye smiled. “Yes thank you, I’m Doctor Harper-Ryan,” She said Cheerfully. “I’m here for my boarding physical.”

“Pleasure to meet you Doctor” Tom smiled as he extended his arm for a handshake. “I’m Doctor Thomas Buckingham - but most call me Tom. I’m the the CMO here on the Endeavour.” He said warmly.
“If you’d care to follow me, we’ll get your Medical underway.” He said as he invited the Counselor to follow across the Sickbay to a vacant Biobed. Buckingham collected a PADD on his way. Tom arrived at the side of the Bed and invited the Counselor to take a seat on it.

Lt. (J.G) Thomas Buckingham - CMO

Skye shook her offered hand. “The pleasure is mine Tom.” She smiled and followed him to the vacant biobed where she pulled herself up to sit on it. She waited, watching him at work.

Buckingham took a moment to prepare everything before speaking. “So then, before we proceed with your medical, have you any aliments or conditions you wish to raise with me now that aren’t expressed on your medical history?” Tom asked.

Lt. (J.G) Thomas Buckingham - CMO

Skye smiled. “Nope, fit as a fiddle as far as I’m aware.” She replied as she watched him organise himself. He sat on the biobed and looked around herself at the crew as they worked.

“Wonderful” Buckingham smiled as he took his Medical Tricorder in hand and began to scan the Counsellor. A brief moment passed, Whilst the Tricorder beeped and it’s lights flashed Tom was watching on as the results began to appear on the Tricorder screen. “So, how are you settling in aboard?” Tom asked as he waited for the scan to be completed

Lt. (J.G) Thomas Buckingham - CMO

Skye watched the tricorder go and looked at Tom as he spoke. “Well thank you, I have managed to set my office up the way I like it at least. How long have you been onboard?” She queried
