He never thought to return back right away to the counselor. It wasn’t Mrs. Skye, neither her behavior, but something bugged him off the counselor figure. The fact he had remorse for the sudden abandon of his house and his family, made him fulfilled of emotions and needed someone to talk with. Yeah, someone like Mrs. Skye.
For a time, Kai took in consideration the tip given by Doc - and without any further lateness - he went, walking with a fast pace, toward the office which he remembered still outgoing with restoration and decorating process.
When he finally arrived in front of the door, he first grinned and put both hand on his face, then after a brief moment of incomprehensible irritation, Kai clicked the bell button and awaited Skye to tell to get in: something in him was going to outrage, such pain and remorse to have left his ill mother, there without a word to say before his leaving.
