The man groaned in pain as he was lifted up to the bio bed. Vitals were very low; his blood level was at a critical low. By the look of it he may not make it. The injury was a gash along his left thigh; his pelvis nearby was bruised and there was a foreign object in the wound, perhaps from where he had fallen into. The fourth person, the only one who didn’t look injured particularly stood by between the injured looking on. He looked decidedly tense and in no small way agitated, all the more as security made its way into sickbay.

Dominic did everything he possibly could to stop the bleeding and bring up his vitals. “He’s lost quite a bit blood. But I will do everything in my power to keep this man alive” he said as focused on removing debris and closed up the wound so hopefully the bleeding would stop. Meanwhile he had some random nurse help with the man’s Vitals.

Meanwhile, Buckingham was still operating. However, with the debris from the ribs cleared and the puncture to the lung sealed he began to finish up and close the incision that he had made. Once this was completed Tom took a step back from the table, stretched and took a brief moment to gather himself.
‘Nurse, Please keep a very close eye on this patient and if anything changes, I wish to be informed immediately.” He said with a serious tone in his voice.
He had one last glance at the monitor above the patients bed, to ensure that everything was stable before walking away.
As he strode across to Cadet Corvax and his patient, Tom removed his surgical head dress and shook his head to sort out his ruffled hair.

“Now then Cadet, What is the situation here?” He asked calmly as he arrived at Corvax’s side.

Dominic glanced at him before focusing back on the wounds”hes lost to much blood, his vitals are extremely low. He did have some debris in his thigh with that gash. I’ve removed it all carefully and I’m currently trying to heal it before he loses anymore blood. I do have a nurse helping with the vitals......I am hoping I can keep the man alive sir…”

Buckingham listened intently as the Cadet described the situation to him. “I see…” Tom said as stood in thought a moment. This was quite a dire situation.
“Cadet, do we know for certain how the gash was caused, or what the debris has come from?” Tom asked in the hopes that this might shed some light on the situation.

Dominic checked his scans over seeing for any information. “I’m not sure I’m not to familiar with the debris. But some crew members from the away team are asking on the condition of this man as well. He may of been injured during some form an attack. Keep in mind I’m not positive on it. I just know his chances of living are slim, but I won’t give up on him.” He explained before showing him the scans

The foreign objects may have been from a shattered console that the man had either struck or that it had shattered - or a bit of both. They were consistent with LCARS glass and surrounding molding. Further examination showed that his femur, apart from showing distinct deep bruising had a hairline fracture. Both of those were not difficult to repair with the technology. Transfusions would be the most applicable response for the blood loss now that the gash had been repaired.

However, at this moment, the man’s body jerked and the status showed he had gone into cardiac arrest.

Dominic saw that he had gone into cardiac arrest and quickly started transfusions and other medical procedures “he’s not doing good I need to start blood transfusions and some other stuff to keep him alive”

The patient suddenly plunging into cardiac arrest panicked Tom. His heart began to beat faster as sweat began to form on his brow.

“Cadet, I will assist the Nurse in getting this man on a Pulmonary Support Unit. I suggest the use of a Cardiostimulator alongside the other work you’re doing.” Tom said with more than a hint or nervousness and concern in his voice. This situation was growing evermore concerning and confusing.

Dominic nodded doing exactly that while keeping calm so he could focus on doing everything correctly,”yes sir. I’ll start that right away” he said as he gathered what he needed without wasting any more time on the patient

Hooking up the cardio-stimulator brought the situation to a crisis point. The stimulator brought him back from whatever state he was in which was, on the status displays on the very verge of death. The stimulator could keep his heart going but there was barely enough blood to be pumped through it. It was going to be touch and go on what happened next.

Dominic saw this he didn’t understand why this was happening. As he looked towards thomas with confusion “I dont get....I wont let this man die. Please tell me there’s a way I can save him....” he asked but deep down he had a feeling there was no saving this man at all it would take the biggest miracle in Dominic’s eyes to save him.

OOC: Incidentally you all are doing wonderful in this thread. As a GM I do much better with a mechanical thing to fix than medical but you all are doing well. Keep it up. Gene
