=^= Crane. My pilot is dead. Two of us are injured. =^= To impress the point there was a shuddering on the ship and the sound of tortured metal under them. The suited figure pointed to one of the other two with him. They could see that one was favoring an arm. =^= My Sparky is in the back. His leg is bad. =^= Two of the three made their way out to the central room. It was, with the away team, a touch cramped with everyone in there with suits.

Kai was still poking around with the scanner while eavesdropping between the chatter of the the Lieutenant and the fellow man. After a couple of seconds, some worrisome readings of the metal stress, alerted Kai and consequently made him tapping his badge, interrupting both parties:
=^=Sir, we must do everything in matter of minutes. This ship is going to break in half at any moment. Metal stress is at its high pitches.=^=
He was reaching the leg-injured man in the back, to give a help and make the process faster.

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

As they finished setting up the pattern enhancers, K’Resh made her way to the back of the vessel with Kingstone to locate the fourth man. =^= Go carefully Cadet, this ship is barely holding together as it is, don’t touch anything you don’t need to! =^= she warned as they picked their way through the wreckage to find the injured man.

Lt K’Resh (CE)

=/\=You should go with him, doctor - sounds like the guy with the leg problem is going to have difficulty getting here=/\= Paron said to Thomas. The person with the injured arm should be fine until they could get back to sickbay. =/\=We don’t have long, priority is getting him safe to transport, we’ll do a direct transport to sickbay=/\= he said as the rest of the team did what they needed to do. Meanwhile, Torias helped the crewman with the injured arm into the area surrounded by the pattern enhancers.

Lieutenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

The hatch to the rear of the prospector ship was jammed, however between Kai and Kingstone they were able to wrench the sliding door open enough to get through. The rear was a mess. Apart from doubling as engineering that was a mess of twisted, blown out relays and panels that sparked and sputtered, cabling hanging down from the ceiling and the deck plating uneven, the cargo there was all over. That was stone and ice chunks, much of which had been on shelving all along one of the walls but had all shifted. A central table unit had also housed some, Kai would figure, for classification and examination. Much was on the floor.

The lone figure was propped up against a blown out wall panel, one arm holding close a large chunk of rock and the other what looked to be an antiquated phaser. =^= This is ours! You’ll not get it! =^= came through the speakers in the comms.
- Wookiee

As soon as Paron heard the message he turned toward the rear of the ship briefly and turning to the officer who gave him the report. He went over to the nearest comm system and activated it. =/\=We’re not here to take anything, we’re here to help. I’m Lieutenant Torias Paron, of the Starfleet vessel USS Endeavour. We are here to get you off this ship before it gets torn apart, and we don’t have long. So I would appreciate it if you would be coopreative as our doctor comes to take a look and help you=/\= he said, with a tone that a parent takes to a child when they’ve done something wrong.

Lieutenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

=^= Starfleet?! =^= Came the reply. It sounded part relief and part incredulous. =^= You’re not part of Ming’s black hearted cutthroats? =^= The phaser drooped from where he was holding it and he seemed to slump against the bulkhead. His other arm did not let go of the rock. =^= Think my leg is busted. Almost passed out getting into this suit. Didn’t .. didn’t think I’d get out of here alive. Name’s Steele. Torias. What kind of name is that? =^= There was a soft chuckle. =^= What kind of name … =^= It sounded to Paron’s limited medical background that the man was in shock.
- Wookiee

Kai, in his depth, wondered also what kind of name was Torias. It was even a name? The only thing he did was to stay in silence while the man in agony was contemplating his poor leg and who knows what was thinking.
Believing he could do nothing for him to relief his pain, the Cadet crouched and inspected the injured limb with a torch, so everyone could have a better look.

Paron looked over to Steele and saw his leg was injured, but he quickly got on the comms =/\=Doctor, we need to get him safe to transport, but even my basic medical knowledge says that’s it’s a bad idea to move him right now, any suggestions?=/\= he asked the away team as he continued to assess the other crewmen’s injuries.

Liuetenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

=^= What if we put the leg in a confined stasis field? =^= He commenced talking =^= We could modify wavelength of the tricorder to make a temporary stasis device. The only problem is that we will have few minutes to move him.=^=
The Idea wasn’t crazy as it could seem: Kai for one of his Academy Project, had created a similar device with reused phasers batteries, a Gamma Ray emitter and some basic circuitry. The only difference is that they had limited phasers, and the batteries they had were sufficient just for 3/4 minutes. Cables and motherboards were not a problem, and tools, they had a bunch of tools with them.
With the help of K’Resh, maybe their chance to increase the time of endurance of the batteries could be optimized as she knew more than the fellow Kingstone.

Cadet Kai O. Kingstone - Scientist

Kai’s examination would not yield a lot - given that he was in a bulky old EVA suit, though it was evident that the man’s leg was bent in a way that was not natural.

The entire ship shifted just then and caused everyone to tumble to one side in a rather undignified fashion. Kai would slam against a series of cabinets. An overhead door opened and contents spilled out to tumble harmlessly on him given the limited gravity and the EVA suit. However, one of the things that covered his head and helmet was, after clawing it off, was what looked like a hammock.

K’Resh and Paron would come up against a table or console, the former tumbling over it to land on his side on the floor. The three crew of the ship landed in a heap along one wall. Oddly enough, the CMO was already near a wall and only was flattened against it while all the others tumbled about around him.
