OOC: In the interests of having something interesting … assume everyone pertinent is on the bridge … this is a little later in the timeline
IC:

As the ship sped toward its destination sensors picked up an object ahead … “Uhhh, Captain, either Becky is playing with the sensor AI again or we have an object ahead … Ten life forms … Nine of them .. Cervidae family, uh, reindeer. Single craft and single life form …”
Wookiee

“Let me guess, “Flynn added, “jolly Ol’ St Nick is at the helm.”

Macleod (XO)

“On screen,” Cassandra spoke, shifting further ahead in her seat in interest.

~Cassandra Rixan~

Torias had heard of earthly holiday traditions, and so when Flynn mentioned about St Nick, he just looked in his direction with a smirk. “I thought that was some earthern children’s story” he commented. He then waited to see what was going to greet the captain on the viewscreen.

Lieutenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

The image showed indeed the sleigh and reindeer. Thy made a deft leisurely turn and made their way toward the ship, growing rapidly in the screen. Then, suddenly they disappeared.

Moments later the sound of hoofs on the hull were heard.

Moments after that there was a flash at the rear of the bridge. An engineering console transformed to an old stone chimney. Embers still showed smoke curling up the blackened stone. Stockings hung on the mantle with names written on them, each with the names of the bridge crew there. Decorations filled the rest of the mantle on either side of a wooden clock that ticked loudly.

A sound was heard in the chimney followed by a man dressed in red with white trim deftly negotiating the chimney. Facing the chimney he pulled a partially filled sack out from the chimney before turning. “You earthlings have very strange demigods,” he said at last.
Santa

Flynn stared in wonder at the change in the bridge and answered with a question of his own “What in the Sam Hill is this here all about?”

“Woah!” Exclaimed Sean, jumping of scare when the flash happened “are you guys seeing what I am seeing or it is just me?” Asked to the Bridge crew, as he saw what it seemed Santa Claus.
What the heck on Earth was happening!

Lieutenant Jr. grade Sir, Sean Knights - CSO

“There’s one person for the nice list,” Santa exclaimed, a frayed scroll and quill pen appearing in hand where he made a tick on the parchment.

Torias didn’t need to answer the question, his phaser was already pointed in the direction of the figure that had just entered the bridge. “How did you get aboard?” he asked, looking at the changed console. “Captain, I think we need to be cautious, could be the Q,” he suggested, having read about the encounters that the enterprise and deep space nine had with them and how they could change someone’s view of reality very easily.

Lieutenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

“Oh naughty naughty,” he said in reply to Torias, making another tick. As the scroll and pen disappeared there was a flash - several actually - and in the place of Torias phaser was a glass of what looked like it may be egg nog. Similarly, there was a glass in everyone’s hand on the bridge. “Ho ho ho,” Santa said, also with a glass. “Tis the season. We’ve made sure no toy phasers are under anyone’s tree. It’s on the politically incorrect North Pole list this year. But we do have some nice starship stuffies that are gaining in popularity.”

He raised the glass. “To .. me?” he said before letting out another ho ho ho.
- Santa

Torias sighed, everything that this “Santa” had done so far was in line with what he had read about the continuum. He gave a cautious look toward the captain, and was ready to call security, but wanted to follow the captain’s lead on this.

Lieutenant (J.G) Torias Paron, CoS

“You’re an awful long way from the North Pole, ain’tcha, Santa? I reckon it’s the folks on Earth are the only ones that believe in Santa Claus. So. . . . what are you doing light years from home?”

Macleod (XO)

‘Santa’ gave an exaggerated sigh and drained the contents of the glass. It disappeared in a flash as he peered around the bridge. “You might be surprised to know the percentage of Earthlings who hold to the old ways of ‘Santa’ on any given Starfleet ship. Not to mention the colonies who do. You might say I’ve had to expand my horizons other than simply Earth since their spread into space. For one who has only a day to visit every home on Earth in a single sled with one bundle of gifts you can actually ask that question?” He peered around the bridge. “No milk or cookies? I may have to put the captain on the naughty list for that. Strange ways to appease your gods.”

Sean looked upside down the man who said he was “Santa”, then from left to the right, a corner to the other, but every time he gave a look with a different perspective, something felt deceiving and incorrect “Yeah… this is a weird place to come and give some… Gifts. Too much far away, too cold, more than the pole.”
For an instance Sean was getting near to give a look, but was suddenly stopped by a thought “if it was a Q, would it have done something bad to him?”
He wasn’t sure, Of course, it was beyond science stuff. Took the tricorder in all secrecy he made some analysis in hope that something could he used toward “Santa”
“Mr. Macleod, what we do?” He said trembling of fear

Lieutenant Jr. grade Sir, Sean Knights - CSO

The tricorder showed a human-mix of something of indeterminate age, but aged, and who could go on a diet and work on his cholesterol. As well, the scans showed him somewhat out of phase with the space around him and also temporally.” There was a banging on the hull above. “Prancer,” he said with a roll of his eyes. “Doesn’t like when I take too long at any place.”
- Santa
