______________________________ BACKGROUND:

Jarred was born into a very Militaristic family life, his father being a Marine in Stat Fleet, and for much of his mom's career being a Marine Consular. This upbringing made Jarred have a very ordered approach when it came to his career, but at the same time rebelling in many ways against it. The exercise and physical conditioning his father imprinted on him, while approaching situations in the field in ways that are more relaxed and not as demanding as his father was on him growing up. He also had a sharp mind, something his mother imparted as well.

Jarred grew up with two siblings, twins Peter and Lucy. Unlike Jarred Peter and Lucy never went into the military, instead becoming a report and doctor respectively. The two looked up to Jarred, being the oldest, but found the antagonistic nature of Jarred to their father hard.

Despite Jarred's nature with his father always pushing him towards marine, he became instead a combat engineer for Starfleet rather than the marines, much to his fathers chagrin

Jarred's personal life was often more of a mixed bag, often being seen as a brutish man by some, the personal fitness often making him look more in line with Security than Engineering, was often offset by Jarred humorous side and often kind nature.

Jarred served as a combat engineer for years, fighting in trenches as he defused bombs and leveled buildings. His career had lead him to be promoted to the Chief Engineer of the USS Saracen as reward for his services on the fronts of the Federations darkest hours.

Jarred went on to marry in time the Saracen's CO, an event that caused him much grief with her abandoning him and their child. Jarred unable to deal with the stress left his daughter with his parents, delving into despair and alcoholism.

Jarred has sense come out of his depression, finding love off and on but never able to kindle the spark with his daughter despite a deep love for her.
