Character Biography

History:
Lane. The illusive heir of the Gruaugen family.

Not much is known about his personal life, nor that of his immediate family, making the descriptor apt but not abnormal. Publicly, they are an image of perfection. The father is both CEO and owner of Zwilling, the biomedical science and technology giant. The mother a loving housewife. Two older brothers and Lane.

Born and raised in New York City, Lane still carries the trace of the accent. He is well-educated through personal, private schooling and tutors; however, it remains to his own cleverness the achievement of a Masters by the age of 18.

At the age of 20, he joined Starfleet and encountered little trouble with the courses. His senior space flight was completed uneventfully and Lane shed his Cadet status with honors in Medical. He has a knack for surgical procedures as well as the more delicate, steady-handed processes the career can require. While it wasn’t explicitly studied at Starfleet Academy, Lane holds extensive knowledge in the subject of genetics.

After several years in Starfleet, he took leave to return home. It is expected that he will soon take his position as the head of Zwilling, but until then he has returned to Starfleet duty… albeit with extra protection precautions.

Curiously, people are hard-pressed to remember a Lane Grauagen.

Quiet and subdued, for the next boss of an industry backbone, Lane is not the obvious choice next to his more outgoing brothers. Still, he holds is own and is seemingly unflappable. Charisma seems to come and go as if a light switch has been flipped.

His previous psychological records have been sealed, but families with power and money do weird things as people know.

Lane is thin, though it isn’t unnatural to his frame and has passed all Starfleet physical standard examinations. He seems tired often even with consistent sleep.

The burn scar on his side seems to cause no issues and he has no known allergies.
