Character Biography

Background:
John T’rol (JT) Robinson comes from a long line of Star-fleet officers dating back to pre-federation star-fleet. One of his ancestors was a Pilot in the NX program and was the first to break the warp 2 barrier. The Robinson family has had a presence in Star-fleet ever since, with most becoming pilots. JT was born and raised on Earth in the New Jersey area of North America. He has a Maternal grandfather for whom he is named after and has a close bond with. While he does not suppress his emotions as he is mostly human, his bond with his grandfather has helped him develop a keen sense of logic.

JT began flying at a young age, getting his first pilot’s license at age 12. If it is flyable, JT can and probably has flown it either in person or in holodeck simulations. He is either certified or at least familiar with nearly every Star-fleet design and several designs of other factions. When not on duty he can often be found in holodecks shooting pool or certifying for a new ship design.

He was accepted to Star-fleet Academy on his second try (just barely missing out the year before) and graduated in the top 10% of his class and as one of the top 3 pilots. He has served on several ships and star bases. He spent a full year commanding a Cargo Runabout running supplies between Federation planets. He has held postings on several classes of ships including cruisers and escorts as well as 6 months at the helm of a freighter and busten to LT(jg) as a punishment from a humorless flag officer.

Appearance:
JT looks almost totally human, of Caucasian decent save for slightly pointed ears and a very faint hint of a green complexion common to those of Vulcan decent. 6‘2’‘ in height, 195lbs w/ short side parted hair. Slightly muscular build with strength that is above average for his build (due to his Vulcan genetics).

Personality:
JT has been known to be a bit of a prankster and his pranks and humor have gotten him in trouble more than once. He is quick witted, and while this makes him fun to have around, he has been known to make jokes at inappropriate times and left with his foot in his mouth.
