‘Big Mike’ McKenzie is a human bartender and former bass player in the now-defunct punk band ‘Government Kills’. The band was widely known throughout the Alpha Quadrant and enjoyed great success with their single “FedSec Fascists”; which they took as a personal affront and disbanded.

Mike comes from a long line of punk rockers turned club owners. In fact, it is a familial tradition to open clubs that have remained relatively unchanged since the late 1980’s on Earth. He is extremely good at booking live shows, but also more than adept at programming holographic performances of long past punk rock bands. He is so good, in fact, that two of his projects are on display in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Earth.

Mike is a large man, hence the nickname, and is proficient in close quarters combat… as befits the owner and bartender of a punk rock club.

Mike is an exceptional bartender with a veritable library of cocktails and drinks from all over the galaxy. And while his shelves only display one kind of booze, whiskey, his bars always have more than adequate stocks of everything normal and exotic. Some even have said that “If you cant get it at Mike’s Place, you dont need to get it.” He is also a decent cook, and keeps a stocked kitchen with simple bar food available. Burgers for the regulars only.
One consistency in Mike’s place is a jukebox, always fashioned to look like one from the Old Earth television program “Happy Days”. On the jukebox are punk artists from all ages… and ABBA’s Greatest Hits. There is one single in the machine that only Mike knows the code to, that being “That Butt Thing” by Horace Trahan and the New Ossun Express; which only gets played when the bar is empty and Mike is sad.
