Build: Boxer, hand to hand, scrapping

With her father being a mechanic, Adi was a grease monkey from the moment she could tell a wrench from a spoon.

She tinkered with every type of machine and vehicle her father came across in his work. Cycles were her favorite. The wind in her hair, the freedom and the speed made her realize she yearned for more than Earth could offer.

She applied to the Academy and went into engineering, but wanted combat skills for flexibility on away missions. She learned hand to hand and boxing with a ferver that her male classmates sometimes envied. And it earned her the nickname the ‘Boxing Belle’ because she was at a formal dinner in town and decked a drunk local picking on one of the ladies. Despite breaking a finger and bloodying her hand, she managed to not get a single drop of blood on her gown.

Full of fire, the green haired woman graduated just high enough in her class to be taken notice of by a group looking for help in high risk areas. She accepted and her first tour was on the USS Majors. A MACO ship that was ‘boots on the ground’ in places where conflict threatened the Federation citizens and their allies.

She learned more skills from the Marines and by the time her tour was up, her Captain asked if she would consider another ship that had more than its share of challenges. It wasn’t till she agreed and signed the orders that she was told it was the USS Wolverine. She was given a promotion to Lt JG for her job well done on the Majors and she transferred to the Wolverine the next week.

She has an affinity for anything mechanic and loves anything she can get into and tinker with. She works out boxing and sparring. She has several fight sims and her favorite is a hand to hand with a Klingon warrior. Of all her sims, that’s her favorite because she hasn’t beat him… yet. (She only uses this sim when she has the next day off to heal and recover) ((she’s been written up twice for the injuries she has sustained as ‘reckless behavior’))

She phobia open space. EV suits don’t bother her. It’s the lack of ‘up and down’ that make her panic. If she can keep her head down, walk the outside of the ship out of necessity, then she can manage for a short time. She can manage short shuttle rides as well if not in pilot seat.

It comes from a repair on the Majors that went wrong. She had gone out with another mechanic to fix a battle breech that was small enough to be able to be handled and had to be before going to warp to get to repair station. A nearby panel, also damaged but missed in the assessment, blew off from a blown line and slammed into her leg with enough pressure to knock her off her mag connection to the ship. She started floating away and the hand of her companion didn’t catch her quick enough. She was quite a ways away in the five minutes it took to beam her back because of damage from the fighting. They had had to use one of the shuttle transporters to retrieve her.

All healed and no rehab needed at this time. No need for special allowances for duty.

Psych
Has been reprimanded for her Klingon sparring holo twice. Plays it just a notch down from no safety. She said playing it on safety teaches her nothing. Last spar 6 months prior to transfer, left her with two broken ribs, a split lip and a concussion.

Oddly enough, she is not obsessed to the point of needing ongoing counseling though recommend it every 90 to 120 days as wellness check to be sure she isn’t going rogue with the program.

Night terrors about space still trouble her. Curtains allowed in quarters if requested. Patient says only needed for bedroom, recommend them ‘accidentally’ placed on all windows.

Well adjusted. Aware of personal limitation. Healthy desire to surpass them. She won’t run the sim till completely healed from last bout. MACO and XO both say her desire to use the sim is not harmful and only seems more strange because of the opponent. VS MACO training that uses sims with human opponents in Academy training facility program.

Loyal to those who give her no cause to be otherwise. Fiercely overly protective of smaller inner circle of friends. Has no trouble making friends or integrating into nearly any situation. Has assisted in several away missions. Seems to lack the ability to join in a companionship with a single individual. Patient claims no one has come along willing to accept her as equal. She doesn’t want someone who wants to coddle her and doesn’t want someone she can’t be who she is when around them. Some males on the ship express apprehension of being intimate with her because of her Alpha personality even in a one on one intimate setting.
