Sean is a very smily person, having a good attitude about most things in his life. However, if things get tough or he gets in a bind, he can get a bit critical - or sassy? He has a very good heart and cares deeply about his fellow crew and his ship. But occasionally the cynic comes out to play and can get him into trouble.

Sean has a medium body style - not terribly muscular but not suffering any weight issues. He casually works out and does Tai-Chi to stay in shape, but prefers walks on the holodeck or even ship halls. He is not the most outgoing in social arenas, but can be a charmer once you get to know him.

History

Sean Moore was born in a small town near the Great Lakes area on Earth, a few hundred miles from Chicago. His Irish-born (both sets of grandparents from Ireland) family is mostly into the arts, music performance and education. His parents and older brother all work at a musical arts school in the western hemisphere and are borderline luddites. It was a shock to them when Sean chose the path of technology and eventually Starfleet.

Sean opted for a technical schooling to get a bit more on-the-job experience before he went into other formal training. This gave him a leg up at the Academy when he focused on operations, flight control, and communications. He really has a knack for these systems and can learn new related areas in no time at all. By the time he was serving on his first ship, he was already exceeding expectations.

Of course he couldn’t keep his mouth shut and his sarcasm came out a few too many times. While never formally reprimanded, he has been talked to several times in his short career. There is a good chance he has not been promoted more than he has already given this attitude that can flare up. Sean is aware of it, but has little control sometimes. He continually works on it to this day.
