Psionic - Gyrokinetic, the ability to manipulate gravity and gravity fields. This is done by ‘listening’ to the specific vibration of a given material. Some are easier to hear than others, and some may be impossible to hear. This varies from psion to psion, as each person is unique. Most common materials are easily heard. A gyrokinetic must practice to use this ability, like a muscle, it grows stronger with use. This also includes finer control as well as the amount of ‘strength’ that can be applied to a smaller space. This ability is very similar to telekinesis and functions much the same

HISTORY
Raised in deep space on a ship
My parents were StarFleet Security, athlete, but they died when I was a child.
I was raised by two legal guardians, one who was an archaeologist, the other a musician. My childhood was pretty typical, I suppose. I was rather spoiled, and I had some strange hobbies.
Starfleet Academy - I wound up gaining a mentor, a security officer. A male Pakled by the name of Delrunol.
My first tour of duty I had a bad assignment, flying a desk because of a beaurocratic mistake.
Second tour of duty while the U.S.S. Ptolemy went on a diplomatic mission a space/time anomaly was discovered, which happened to be created by an alien artifact. I showed great promise and gained a mentor and ally in Starfleet. This encounter left Nancy with a telekinetic and gyrokinetic ability to manipulate herself, surroundings, objects, people.. things.
My third tour of duty the U.S.S. Ares was hijacked/captured by Klingons. Saved the day but made an enemy out of a fellow crew member.
Fourth Tour - U.S.S. Confederation. ship hijacked/captured by a civilian spy group. I once again showed great promise and gained another mentor and ally within Starfleet (and impresse dmy first one)
