Alexandra Jayne Drake was born 12 July 2370 in San Francisco. She attended private school, gaining middling or high marks, depending on her interest. After playing a holonovel centred around being a Starfleet Captain, she set her eyes on the command chair. Since then her grades were stellar and she gained easy admission to Starfleet Academy. Trusting Security and Tactical postings to take her to high places, Alexandra dedicated herself to graduating with high marks in that field. And so she did.
