Name: Inola

Race: Human (Cherokee)
Description: Inola has long dark hair that she wears in two thick braids. Her eyes are dark brown, and her skin is a deep copper.
History: Inola was born on Cerberus, a Federation colony. At 14, her parents divorced, and her mother took her to live on Earth. She enjoyed languages from a young age, and easily learned Latin-based languages, Iroquois and Standard, but had trouble learning new alphabets. She was determined to overcome the challenge of learning different alphabets and as soon as she successfully learned the Cyrillic alphabet, she joined Starfleet.
Personality: Inola isn’t naive, but her optimism often leads people to think she is. She loves to learn even though she was never good with science or math.
Family: Inola’s father Adahy was Cherokee, and her mother Mika was Sioux.
Starfleet Service: Inola served on Starbase 78 for a year and a half, on the very edge of Federation Space. It was altogether uneventful.
