Background:
In school, Ari was prone to choir, and is a tenor.
Ari decided to join Starfleet because he wanted to see existence, and meet non-human persons.
His father insisted upon martial arts for self-protection, and encouraged him to become a Starfleet Security officer.

Personality:
His hobbies include writing, roleplaying, cosplaying, LARPing, socializing, and dancing.
His writing consists of philosophy, storytelling, poetry, and song lyrics.
His regular exercise, until he got into dance, was for his health.
An ancestor had health problems from not exercising, being addicted to computer games, and after treated insisted upon exercise to her children and grandchildren, a lesson which passed down through the generations.
He believes in animal equality, and has had temporary goes of vegetarianism, and veganism. But, ultimately, he prefers allowance of eating meats that have themselves eaten meat, such as chicken.

Psychology

Ari has a history with anxiety, including social anxiety, from the perfectionism of his mothers. But, it’s being very successfully treated by Starfleet’s Dr. Charlotte Lopez, an anxiety, and PTSD specialist.
Easily getting anxiety problems from childhood issues runs in his biological, maternal family.

Medical

Ari has tachycardia. A fast heart. But, it’s being treated.

Out Of Uniform

Ari is prone to a belly dance, and standard exercise fusion fashion.
He loves minimalist, “barefoot,” toed sock-shoes.
One of his mothers, Haseya makes clothes for him.

Family Characters:

Active persons committed to the RP who write at a minimum a little worse than I can adopt to play these characters if they get permission first. I’d want to see 1+ writing samples for playing them before approving.
Changes from what I’ve thusfar officiated can be made by saying the character changed later, or that Ari was for some reason mistaken about that detail. If you want to change something, ask. If the change is good, I’ll give permission.

Father: Ahiga Adikai is a multi-genre singer, and guitarist of medium success.
He coparented with numerous women with condition that he got visitation, and joint legal custody.
His wife, Haseya, was always infertile, and gave permission to have kids with other women.
Ahiga’s home is Burnside, Arizona.
Ahiga, and Haseya did remakes of Wipeout, and Pipeline among other successful remakes mixed in with their originals.
((The importance of this is that Wipeout is a familiar summer song in Arizona, played at Big Surf Waterpark. And, Pipeline is very Arizona-like of a surf song by it’s guitaring.))

His Father’s Wife: Haseya Adikai is a drummer of medium success. She’s in Ahiga’s band.
Haseya is also a seamstress, and fashion designer, contributing to the band’s style. She contributes to Ari’s wardrobe.

Biological Mother: Belle Bijou is a psychiatrist with perfectionism.
She, too, had anxiety from her childhood that got successfully treated. Hers came from being cyberbullied while growing up out of envy of her intellect, and beauty.
She is Polish maternally, and French paternally.
She’s a big fan of the Three Musketeers, and always wanted an Athos, but Ahiga said no to having an Athos, because Athos was a drunk. He later named a younger child Athos from another French-descended woman.
Misses Bijou’s hometown is Mesa, Arizona.

His Biological Mother’s Wife: Shasta Moore is a psychiatric nurse of his biological mother’s office.
She tends to “be like a sidekick” to his biological mother. She’s a very supportive person, and would cheer for Ari during martial arts competitions.
She hobbies in vehicle mechanics.
She is maternally Navajo, and paternally English.

Older Sister: Shasta Moore II is a psychiatrist who practiced martial arts growing up. Now, she teaches merely self-defense on the side of her psychiatry practice.

Older Brother: Porthos Bijou is a school counselor who practices martial arts for exercise, and self-defense.

Younger Sister: Cherisa Moore is a martial arts champion, and instructor.

Ari introduces Curt to Marvel prior to adoption, and finds that he quite likes Kurt Wagner, so he names him Curtis. His favorite depiction of Kurt has a cutlass in each hand, and one held by his tail, as he stands on a ship’s steering wheel.
And, later, prior to adoption, Ari finds that Belle is a skilled singer, as well as skilled with a lute, so names her Belle.
After adoption, he takes Curt, and Tink to the Caribbean to see historical sites, do tours learning Caribbean history, and to play with steel drums. He gives them each a handpan, and a Taino dictionary.))

Romance:
Ari is bisexual, and anyone 18+ may have their character take romantic interest in him. He might reciprocate. You don’t need to ask for permission to flirt.
I would like him to have a partner in his permaship of the future, if anyone likes him for their character. And, I am open to him having a partner during the academy, whether temporary, or carrying over to their permaship.
If you want him to not flirt with your character, make your character give him a clear rejection, please.
