Background:
Norene and Adir are both Starfleet Officers and currently serve together on the USS Tian An Men (a Miranda-class ship); Norene is the Executive Officer and Adir is a medic.

Norene started her career as a science officer and was stationed for a time on Vega Colony when Cassidy was young. Otherwise, the family moved from ship to ship as required.

Cassidy had an intense fear of water due to a near drowning incident when she was a child. Otherwise, Cassidy (or Cass as her friends call her) is known to be an outgoing and vibrant woman who’s not afraid of having a bit of fun.

She is best friends with scientist, Vora Zorell.

After taking swimming lessons and having some experiences that challenged her fear and proved her ability to be decisive in the face of danger, Cassidy decided to make the switch to security, which she had scored high in in aptitude tests in her pre-Academy days. She has completed supplemental training to fill-in the gaps in her knowledge.

Cassidy is proficient in the Israeli marital art of krav maga, which generations of her father’s family learned. She is also known to be a sharp-shooter and holds a high score on the Europa.

2388: Had an encounter with a ‘facehugger’ that left her rather shaken after she received visions of the past regarding ‘The Ancients’ and ‘The Elder’.
2391: Transfers to the security department.
2395: Promoted to Lt. (j.g) and made Chief of Security.
