Name: Surda

Race: Orion
Description: Surda has dark green skin and red curly hair. Her eyes are dark brown. She has many scars, but she hides the visible ones well.
History: Surda’s family sold her into slavery as a baby because of financial troubles. She was raised as an entertainer, spy, and assassin, but at 13 she decided she didn’t want to stay with her ship. Instead of returning to the ship she was raised on, she stowed away on a string of ships until she finally reached Vulcan where she was immediately caught by Federation representatives. After evaluating the truth of her story (A nearly year-long process) she was told she’d be allowed to stay so long as she went into ten-year service, officially as a cultural liaison, and unofficially as a spy. After completing that at 24, she was given the option of choosing another ship or living on Vulcan for the rest of her life. She chose to go to the Leviathan.

Personality: Surda keeps her cards close to her chest, a habit both from being raised on a Pirate ship and from her ten years as a Starfleet spy. She’s very good at deception, so good people don’t even notice that they haven’t learned anything substantial about her. She’s also extremely loyal, but she’s not afraid to pretend to change sides if she thinks it’ll keep people safe. She adopts other languages and cultures quickly and had trouble deciding who she was going to be when she first joined Starfleet.
