With a short military cut of auburn hair, she has the typical large cranial enhancements below the hairline and above the ears. She is of average height and uses a vocal enhancer to help her communicate verbally.

Personality

Like all Cairn she has no sense of privacy. It is a foreign concept that she has learned to respect in other species but finds it foreign and uncomfortable. Despite having learned to speak in late childhood she will often stop to search for the correct word needed to verbalize her thoughts.

Personal Information

The Cairn were a humanoid species native to the planet Cairn, also known as Vair, and were members of the United Federation of Planets by at least the year 2378. (from Memory Alpha and Memory Beta) The Cairn have no spoken language of their own, using only telepathy, so Federation Standard is their primary vocal language. Cairn communicate telepathically using images making it difficult to communicate with other telepaths unless they are familiar with the method.

Education:

Before Academy Earned her degree as a teaching assistant. Over the years, simply because it interested her, Karina earned certifications in gifted education, history education, and research and writing methods.

During Academy

Attended the academy entering into security with a focus on intelligence, having a deep desire to protect her people and all peoples of the federation. Early on she showed aptitude for leading others and keeping a cool head in intense situations. Under the advice of her adivors she transferred to the command track, continuing her intelligence training as well, where she graduated as the top 7 in her class.

Enjoys listening to music, and playing instruments. She also enjoys formal forms of martial arts training. She enjoys theatre and animals

Nothing out of the ordinary. She received her vocal enhancer at the age of 2 and has been speaking since. She has some injuries from her security training, but nothing serious.
