Character Biography

Story
Aaron Williams is a human, native from Mars, but raised on Earth. His father was an officer of Starfleet, who died due to an unknown alien virus, and his mother a Doctor on Earth. They both inspired him to study medicine and to go to Starfleet Academy. Even if he wanted to be a Scientist, he likes his job as a doctor.

Personality
Aaron is curious and wants to study unknown creatures and bacteria, as much as he loves space. He likes to help others in need, to support people. The main problem is that he’s quite lazy, which makes him almost fail the admission to his medical license. Without his mother to push him along, he would have failed. The death of his father marked his life forever, and more than just helping people, Aaron came to Starfleet to better understand his father’s past, and to better understand himself.
He doesn’t like unknowns and inexperienced situations, and can easily stress. The only situations he can handle are emergency ones and he can be quite cool-headed in those moments, thanks to his knowledge. He refuses other people to die. Seeing the death could easily affect him, as it already affects him in the past.

Tastes
Aaron loves coffee, a love that helped him to succeed during his year of studies. More than a drink, it was a friend for him, and he never lived a day without his daily cup of coffee. He’s also playing some Saxophone, a 20th-century retro instrument, according to the archive, that he founded in his grandfather’s attic. Off duty, he’s learning how to play this instrument, for the pleasure of his neighbors’ ears.

Starfleet Service
Aaron enrolls in Starfleet and picked a Medical license supported by Starfleet, to follow his father’s steps, and to become a doctor. He enters Starfleet Academy and arrived aboard the USS Challenger on March, 9th of 2397 to complete his Starfleet’s scholarship medical license. He continued his Studies of Xenology Anatomy aboard the USS Challenger and pass. He wrote a few xenobiology papers, and continue to write some during his off-duty times to keep his hand in.
On August 2397, Aaron Williams was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade and was proposed to the Chief Science Officer post aboard the Challenger, which he accepts. To get along to his new position, Aaron decided to study Science by using Starfleet archives on Science Officer Studies.

On-field experience
After the plague that strikes the Challenger in 2398, Aaron continues to develop the vaccine with the help of the ship’s Medical Departement , and submit a report to Starfleet Command about the virus, along with his symptoms (sweat, extreme fever, ramblings) and the details about the vaccine, which he named “AW-2” since the first one was a prototype created in a hurry. For the disease, he named it “Coldwand”, a contraction of “Cold Wanderers” refering to the victims’ behavior, who will try to cool down by any mean, even the most radical ones.
