History:
The previous host was Tiadoss Voles. He was a known smuggler.
Ervim was born and raised on Trill. He learned about Starfleet while he was an initiate to be a host, he was assigned to Iarzur Tasohl, a person who while they were not in Starfleet themselves, worked alongside Starfleet personnel on a starbase. He learned about Starfleet and decided he wanted to join. After he passed and got paired with his symbiote from Tiadoss Voles he joined Starfleet.
While in the academy he would have dreams about the criminal smuggling actions of the previous post, but he never reported it to anyone. It wasn’t until his first ship assignment that he reported it, as the dreams were getting more and more frequent. The ship counselor recommended leaving Starfleet, as she feared the dreams may cause him to start smuggling. However the Captain, seeing how his record was still clean, suggested going into section 31, he liked that idea, when he was assigned to a Starbase 61 in the outskirts of space and saw other officers who had similar issues, he knew this was the place for him. He was then assigned to the U.S.S. Wolverine where he currently serves as a security officer.

Starfleet Career:
2379- Civilian as a Trill Initiate aboard Deep Space 3.
2383- Joined Starfleet Academy where he received basic training as a security guard.
2387- Graduated the Academy top 8 in class. Assigned to U.S.S. Saratoga.
2389-Re-assigned to Starbase 61.
2391-Re-assigned to U.S.S. Wolverine
