Lunan Farrah

Character Biography

Born on First Contact Day in 2360, Farrah spent a lot of his younger days in a lab, experimenting. His father, a member of the Bajoran Science Council in the days before the Cardassian Occupation and the two of them would spend days upon days together working on different science experiments. The experiments were basic at first, but Farrah often recalls the first time he caused damage to his father’s home lab. During the Occupation, Farrah’s family joined the Bajoran Resistance, working undercover as medics on one of the Cardassian Ore Processing Facilities. The two men worked extensively on a toxin that was initially designed to act as a ‘knock out serum’ for one of the Cardassian officials working as overseer of the facility. However, due to an oversight on Farrah’s part, a spillage of an overly powerful version of the serum caused the entire Cardassian crew of the facility to develop a strange form of radiation burn across their skin. Granted, this would prove beneficial to the Bajoran Resistance, who were able to rescue everyone from the labour camps aboard the Ore Processing Facility. After returning home, Farrah began learning things about Starfleet and their campaign against the Romulans and Cardassians; though not being sure about the beliefs of the Federation, he decided to hold off. That was until the Dominion started targeting the core worlds, then he knew he had to take action. His first assignment after graduating from Starfleet, a Science JO aboard the USS Montgomery, saw him working with some of the fleets top scientists to understand the importance of Ketracel White to the Jem’Hadar. Now, since he left the Montgomery, Farrah has been looking for his next big challenge, he hopes to find it sooner rather than later.
