Medical and Mental History

MBTI & Enneagram: ISTP, 03 – The Doer
Analysis: fair and receptive, action-oriented, logical and analytical, emotionally detached risk-taker, self-reliant, serene but hardly above quips, deliberate, dislikes routine, impassive, difficulty recalling names, takes lots of notes to remind herself of important tasks, adaptable.
Skills & Interests: rock climbing and kayaking, Klingon Opera, Vulcan lute (listening), collecting and restoring artefacts, anthropological studies.

Psychological Profile: Haadok’s upbringing in a culturally diverse colony encouraged her capacity for empathy and forbearance. Although she upholds devotion to logic and discipline, she exercises considerably less restraint than her Vulcan peers. Haadok prefers a tranquil approach guided by emotional tolerance than purging. That said, a life surrounded by emotional creatures bestowed a degree of impatience and resourcefulness on her once-impressionable mind. Her parents’ culturally sensitive approach and negligence of gendered roles in Vulcan society helped Haadok navigate a world filled with diversity and conflict. As a leader, Haadok offers guidance and support but refuses to ‘do’ for others what she knows they can do for themselves. As a physician, Haadok empowers her patients and often explores unconventional treatments to reach their goals. She is witty (read: snarky), unyielding and thoughtful… but she is not above impulsivity. Former COs and DHs have recognised Dr Haadok as an inventive and unorthodox physician who engages in a ‘unique’ bedside manner.
Treatment History: none.

- minor dopamine deficiency (persistent).

Allergies: none.
Prescriptions: a diet high in tyrosine.

Educational and Service Record

Iria Learning Centre —
Yehenik excelled in humanities and expressed a special interest in intercultural history. Throughout her time at ILC, she engaged in football (soccer), debate team and the school newspaper. She was known for her candid takes on the lunch menu. […]

Evekh University, North Campus —
Yehenik received early admission to EUNC, pursuing a major in anthropology with an archaeological emphasis. Following a research lab in her second year, she took on an astrobiology minor and shifted her gaze to a career in excavation and research. Beyond her studies, Yehenik displayed a keen interest in outdoor sports and survival. She joined a club, engaging in everything from camping to backpacking to rock climbing and kayaking. In her junior year, she worked toward certification in first aid and search & rescue, enabling her to lead a few trips of her own. […]

Vulcan Academy of Science —
Yehenik submitted an application to participate in an anthropological fellowship surrounding current excavations of ruins on Alhm III. The planet was believed to be inhabited by agrarian people (despite its current infertility and inhospitable environment) with henotheistic religious practices. Although an unlikely–and originally denied–applicant, Yehenik secured the fellowship in ‘44. Mid-excavation, the team was attacked by an undocumented indigenous lifeform. Six legs, beady eyes and a distaste for intruders meant a lethal encounter for the excavation team. Half were lost and those who survived did at great injury. Yehenik suffered a trauma to her spine and neck that rendered her unconscious for several days. […]

Starfleet Medical Academy —
Yehenik, now going by Haadok, enrolled in SFMA’s medical programme in summer 2245, pursuing a Doctor of Osteopathy degree in family medicine. Though provided the option to specialise, she instead elected to proceed with a complimentary degree in public health. Haadok established herself as a resolute and open learner with a passion for holistic, patient-centred care that emphasised partnership over traditional structure. This mentality enabled her to connect with and care for non-Vulcan patients. […]

USS Nefelibata — Ensign-Lt (j.g.), Physician
[…]

USS Sentinel — Lieutenant (j.g.), Chief Medical Officer
[…]

2240 – Certified in outdoor medicine and S&R.
2240 – Applied to the VSA anthropological fellowship for the Alhm III excavation. Denied.
2241 – Graduated and offered a research position at EUNC. Declined when a spot on the VSA fellowship opened.
2241 – Sustained critical injury to her lumbar region that left lingering nerve damage. Remanded to 1 year of rehabilitation at ShiKahr, where she conducted extensive research on the Alhmin people and planet.
2243 – Offered an adjunct professorship at the Vulcan Science Academy for her publication. She declined and applied, relatively spontaneously, to SFMA.
2247 – Assigned to USS Nefelibata for residency, promoted to Ensign.
2249 – Passed licensing exams and was promoted to Lt. J.G., named aCMO.
2250 – Reassigned to the USS Sentinel as Chief Medical Officer.
