Character Biography

Born on Vulcan on April 25th 2225 during the days of the formation of the United Federation of Planets, Symar found the field of medicine to be fascinating. His parents were both accredited members of the Vulcan Science Council, as well as being practicing medics. Symar decided therefore, that following in his parents footsteps was the logical next step to make. Studying under his father, particularly during the first couple of months of his third Pon Farr, proved to be an… interesting experience. Surprisingly for a Vulcan, Symar noticed that his father seeemd to suffer from a few more emotional outbursts, even outside of the Pon Farr. Realising that limiting himself to research on Vulcan would not be beneficial to his objectives, Symar reached out to the heavily human oriented Starfleet and applied to become a member of their Academy. Aceing his medical exams, Symar graduated with flying colours and began life as a field medic on board the USS Kellyman, specialising in both physical and psychiatric trauma. Eager to continue his research with the resources of a Starship’s sickbay at hand, and if he were human, it could be argued that Symar was… looking forward to continuing his Starfleet career.
