Psychological Profile
Rogina Triss is a woman of two very open cultures. As a result she is often open and straightforward. Gina, as she likes to be called, often favors honesty, much like most Betazoids. Exposure to other cultures through working on a freighter was a new experience which seasoned her to how other cultures conduct social affairs. She has exhibited patterns of anger, shame, guilt, and grief over her capture and subsequent abuses of her pirate captors, as well as her time as a slave in healthy amounts but has since recovered.
It has been determined that Gina is strong-willed and clear-thinking. She demonstrated remarkable resiliency during her period of therapy on Betazed. She has also expressed her thanks and gratitude to the crew that aided in her escape and subsequent rescue, returning her to Federation space.
Her experiences as such have given her a strong sense of justice, as well as a desire to protect others. She has displayed something of a negative bias towards sex crimes and those related, which is understandable given her heritage and history. As a result it is unlikely that an Oath of Celibacy would be required as she has demonstrated remarkable poise and control. Was declared fit for Academy selection and induction. Distinguished herself as an apt student and her instructors described her as “a joy to teach” and “a fast learner”. Was declared fit for duty for service aboard the U.S.S. Saturn.
