Character Biography

Connor grew up in the big smoke, a single child, whose parents sacrificed everything to give him every chance. He was sent to the finest schools, and had private tutors. At one school, he had a classmate who was deaf, and the class learned Federation Standard Sign Language to better help her fit in and feel part of the class. He visited a dozen Federation worlds by the age of 15. He’d returned to earth and focused on his desire to join Starfleet in the science division. Archeology, both human and alien, would be his specialty.

During his cadet years at the academy, he had an intense romantic relationship with a fellow cadet - Evan Murphy. Evan died while they were serving together as Cadets in a tragic accident. But Evan’s remains were never found so they were never returned to the Murphy household for closure for either them or Connor. He never felt whole since then and was professional but not overly close to any new colleagues. He cross trained from science into engineering and specialised in transporter and replication systems.

He hopes a future mssion will return to the planet on which Evan died so he can find any remains of his former lover and bring closure to himself and his family
