Astrid was born to slaves on the Plantation world of Hyperion in the year 2133 and she herself was a slave the Andorian slaves tried to treat her well and teach her the ways of her people however she seemed to be wired differently she enjoyed being under the heel of the human plantation owner as well as the overseers who of course whipped and punished the slaves herself included however she still bowed to them willingly

One night she was 16 at the time she overheard plans by some of the other slaves to lead a revolt the next day she managed to steal some of the evidence and turned it over to the overseers she was rewarded for her loyalty by becoming the Plantation owners pet she was taught to read and write she was given nicer quarters in the main house nicer clothes She began to feel like she was the superior example for all Xenos showing them that Obedience was the way The humans were superior and must be obeyed and she could also show the Humans that Xenos were capable of being more than slaves though not quite equal

Eventually, she impressed her master enough for him to recommend her to a friend of his in the Imperial fleet Captain Gunnar he purchased her freedom from the plantation owner She was immediately impressed and she devoted herself to learn from him and soon she was off to the academy under his recommendation where she quickly proved herself to be quite capable and after four years in the academy she emerged being assigned to Captain Gunnar’s ship she became his protege learning all she could from him and proving herself loyal to him He was grooming her for something she knew that much but still continued forward she rose through the ranks

one day her captain sent her on a solo mission to infiltrate a clan that was plotting rebellion turns out it was her own clan of Ronahr upon infiltration she found that they were planning an attack on an Imperial arms depot She convinced the higher-ups to make it look like they succeeded in this attack by planting crate loads of malfunctioning weapons she wanted them celebrating a victory as she would put a sleeping drug in their food and drink supply taking a counteragent so she could remain awake herself once everyone in the rebellion was asleep she used her Ushann Tor blade and Killed every man, woman, and child, in brutal fashion after taking images she broadcast over all of Subspace “I am Astrid Sh’Ronahr my clan was fomenting rebellion against the empire I am loyal too I see the whole history of each Xeno when I look into their eyes everyone was born with nothing so Xenos have to struggle and Connive and claw their way to power, even I have done a little of that. However, True Power, the Divine right to rule Is something only Terrans are born with. A Xeno can only hope to prove themselves of use to the Terrans and ride the wave alongside them. You Xenos may think I just beat you at your own game but don’t flatter yourself you were never even a player Long Live the Empire!” showing the images she shocked everyone who saw the broadcast now she is slated to join the Knights of Hades with her mentor Captain Gunnar and she could not be happier
