Character Biography

She appears 28ish. Is around 84 per Romulan age.
Raven dark hair of both folks, with eyes of hazel blue with brown specs.

Martaa is an avid scientist but also a compassionate soul. She’s one capable of getting folks to talk without them even realizing it. Spec Ops tried to recruit her when, at age 15(30) she got secret operational information from a high ranking Federation official friend of the family who had come to dinner. Thankfully it wasn’t sensitive, and she was also known for keeping secrets, but he was impressed none the less. She declined with the excuse that she’s rather discover secrets of why things were than help others destroy people, places and things in secret.

She joined the Academy to follow her mom’s science footsteps. Her sister was stationed on Mars and with family help, she was stationed there as well. Arthur has washed it of the Academy but always made it a point to be close to wherever Alithee got stationed. So the three were on Mars when they decided to surprise their folks on Romulus.

Dad had moved the family to Earth during the Dominion War. The year Mar went to the Academy, they’d moved back to Romulus. The day they were due to arrive, Alithee had a crisis in her lab and had been delayed a day.

That was the day Romulus was destroyed.

Arthur went immediately to assist the scavengers, space miners and scientists who were scrounging the debris for survivors, relics and anything that could be saved or enlighten them to the cause.

Alithee got transferred to OP42 on next rotation to help as well.

Mar stayed on Mars but found herself more and more in a counselor/confidant you’re of position and the CNS recommended office school and formal training on what has been hobby classes in her original Academy days.

She took the offer and ended up back on Earth getting her Commission and Counselor qualifications. While in school, her brother dies in a debris field accident. Alithee, struck with grief of the loss of her twin so soon after her parents, disappears the day after he dies. Alithee is still listed as AWOL to this day.

Mar ended up on OP42 as a junior counselor assisting with grief in family dynamic settings after graduation. But after a couple yrs, and promotion to Lt JG, she realizes her obsession with finding answers and getting closure is unhealthy and requests a transfer away from the Outpost.

Her request is answered with a promotion to fill Lieutenant and the position of CNS aboard the Ark Angel. She joins the crew at STARBASE 243.
