Personality
One of Adami’s core personality traits is being a peacemaker. She strives to see and understand both sides of every conflict she comes across in order to better resolve it. But she’s also not very confrontational and isn’t very good at standing up for herself. Adami also has a passion for music, specifically playing the clarinet. Her parents and friends would describe her as kind, intelligent, and understanding.

Personal Information

Many years ago, a girl was born to unknown human parents in an unknown part of Earth. What is known is that her birth parents traveled to Bajor and left their newborn daughter on the doorstep of a temple. Adami was found by a couple by the names of Reil Vuej and Reil Jizi, at which point they named her Reil Adami and took her as one of their own. Adami grew up with a firm understanding of Bajoran culture but also desired to learn about other cultures in order to promote peace and tolerance, values that her parents instilled in her at a young age.

Eventually, Adami decided to go to Starfleet Academy with full support from her parents and her community. She didn’t study in a conventional major, wanting to become a diplomat for Starfleet. Some of the courses that Adami took are as follows:

Upon graduating from Starfleet as an unenlisted officer, Adami felt that she needed more training before she felt comfortable enough to become an official diplomat. But she didn’t exactly know where to get it from. So she stuck around the Starfleet Academy campus for a while, shadowing her former instructors to get as much experience as she could. But without being around an actual diplomat, it just didn’t feel right for her. Perhaps she’s finally found that missing piece…

Spirituality
Despite being raised on Bajor, Adami doesn’t believe in the Prophets as she wanted to find her own religion. She tells people that she’s still looking, but in reality, she found her religion during her days at the Academy. Adami just chooses to keep that to herself to avoid judgment by her fellow crewmates as her chosen religion can be very controversial, especially for humans.
