Appearance

Nala stands about 5’4”. She appears small and delicate with proportions resembling that of a siamese cat. She has a long soft, thick double coat of fur covering her body from the tips of her ears to her toes. Her fur is a stunning pure white with only three rings of black at the end of her tail. She takes a great deal of pride in her fur so it is extremely rare for it to be a mess. Her ears are large triangular and sit on top of her head much like radar dishes. She has a pink nose and paw pads on her hands and feet. Her eyes are a brilliant blue with the typical slit pupils of most felines. She has sharp fangs and claws on her hands and feet, along with the usual whiskers. As she had digitigrade-like feet she does not wear shoes except when she is in the Lab conducting experiments.

History;

Wail Nala was born on Cait; she knows very little about it. She only spent her first week or so of life on her home planet. Her birth parents are a bit of a mystery. She has only been able to track down their names as well as her original name. Shortly after her birth, she was placed in the care of her adoptive parents.
Commander Alexander Winters and his wife Serenity Winters were unable to have any children of their own. Commander Winters works for Star Fleet as a security officer. Her mother was a stay-at-home mother. She had a pretty standard childhood, well as standard as it could be for her. She was raised on earth in Washington state. Her parents supported everything she chose to pursue and were very proud when she joined Star Fleet to become a science officer. Her first assignment out of the academy is the U.S.S Saracen.

Medical files:
Nala is a healthy adult Caitian. She has had no major injuries or illnesses. She is known for extreme focus leading her to not eat or sleep for several days on end. This has not left any lasting damage yet.

Phycological profile

Nala is bright and very inquisitive. She wants to know how everything works. She does tend to focus on something to the point of neglecting some of her own needs. She is also a bit obsessive over her fur being clean. She is usually outgoing and friendly when on duty. But can become overwhelmed by too many people and too much noise. She prefers to keep close to a small group of close friends in her off time.
Having been raised by humans has had its challenges. Even though she was loved a great deal by her adoptive parents she still feels something is missing. She describes it as ” It’s like there’s a piece of me that was surgically removed.” She has tried looking into and studying her heritage but it has left her puzzled with more Questions the answers.
“Who was I meant to be? Why was I taken from my homeworld and family?” She believes that given how close Caitian families are there had to be a reason. Despite now knowing her original name she still prefers the name given to her by her adoptive parents. She is unable to see herself as M’Tiri Prurin. She does still love her adoptive parents and feels her name Nala was a gift from them and just as much a part of who she is.

Hobbies and interests

She loves the study of physics, and ecosystems, along with robotics. In her free time, she enjoys figure skating and drawing.
