Appearance:
Iphigenia Umbrah Henao possesses eyes the color of rich mahogany brown that sometimes exude a reddish-brown tint, but reflects depth and warmth. Her skin is caramel brown tone which enhances her distinctive presence. She boasts jet black hair that falls elegantly to her elbows when straightened, but when worn naturally curly, it cascades just beyond her shoulders. Typically, she parts her hair on the right side, adding a touch of sophistication to her overall appearance.

Name Pronunciation:
Her name is pronounced as “eh-fee-gee-ny-ah” for Iphigenia and “heh-nay-o” for Henao.

Iphigenia exudes enthusiasm and possesses a persuasive nature. History:
Iphigenia, affectionately known as Iphi, spent her formative years in Texas under the care of her father, Cosimo Henao. Cosimo was the founder of CH Armories & Tactical Defense LLC, a prominent weapons company specializing in advanced technical and bio weapons exclusively sold to governmental agencies on Earth. Their strict policy prohibits marketing or selling to non-Earth alliance governments. Growing up in this environment exposed Iphigenia to influential figures within Starfleet due to her father’s top-secret work, igniting her fascination with the organization. At the age of 20, after completing her bio-engineering studies in just three years at the Daystrom Institute, she fulfilled her father’s requirement of attending a “real university” before enrolling in Starfleet Academy. Iphi expedited the process to the best of her ability. Upon graduation, she embarked on her Starfleet journey as an Ensign Weapons Specialist aboard the USS Prometheus II. Through dedication and perseverance, she advanced her career to become a Lieutenant Gunnery Sergeant and a Lieutenant Weapons Consultant, even serving as a pilot on the USS Nosotromo and occasionally contributing to the security team. Following her tenure on the Nosotromo, Iphi assumed the role of Lieutenant Commander Chief of Security at the Starfleet base on OED V for three years. Subsequently, she joined the USS Duraz as Commander Chief Tactical Officer.

Iphigenia is a twin, her brother Cosimo, who briefly ventured into Starfleet before dropping out and assuming the role of CEO and head of CH Armories & Tactical Defenses. Their father, now retired, serves as a consultant, offering guidance to his son. Iphi transferred her shares in the company to her brother upon joining Starfleet, with the understanding that they will be returned if needed. Despite their contrasting lives and the absence of typical twin connections, Iphigenia and her brother maintain a close relationship. Born via a surrogate after the untimely passing of their mother, Iphi and Cosimo never had the opportunity to know her. In honor of their late mother, Iphigenia,was named after her, Iphigenia and her brother only know that she tragically succumbed to a severe case of Andorian measles during a short stay on Andoria, and their father used frozen eggs they had stored together to fulfill their mother’s wish of creating the family they always wanted. Although they grew up in privilege, the siblings had limited travel experiences beyond Earth, which fueled Iphigenia’s desire to join Starfleet. Hearing tales of exploration and longing for new adventures outside her sheltered upbringing, she considers enrolling at the Academy as the best decision she ever made.
