Back Story

The ancestral land of House Noggra has many lakes. V’lk, Q’onoSian Sharks, are vegetarian, but like most things aggressive when their space is invaded. The children of the House used to challenge each other to swim across the ponds. Usually after they had been agitated, to make it a true challenge. They had also gotten into quite a bit of trouble when a V’lk had been injured. Lord Noggra had been disappointed, meaning he was utterly terrifying.

Noggra House lands are a testament to its custodians. They have done well in maintaining the natural order there, unlike some.

Lord Noggra, like his father, understood what was important to preserve. Every year there is another generation of children that must learn that lesson, and they learn it quite well. A hard lesson for some, but vital to protect their home from over use and development.

Jal’na always thought that the determined survival of nature on Q’onoS was part of the beauty. To survive at all costs. Q’onoS had certainly had its share of natural and not so natural disasters.

Jal’na had neither the skill nor the aptitude to be a warrior. Not everyone can be. She grew tired of watching strong capable men and women choose the Hegh’bat when with enough courage and fortitude, they could and would get better and continue to live with honor. She had strong opinions about what constituted honor. She chose to serve her House by helping them heal and return to their callings. Lord Noggra taught them that warriors come in more versions than Klingons. When Sacred Heart sent out inquiries, looking for more staff, she read about Oed. She decided there were all manner of warriors and good, strong, honorable people there who needed someone to look after them. And with Lord Noggra’s blessing she came. She has been there ever since.
