Character Biography

Name: Do’trahk-Khurth of House Kholl
Hair: Bald, shaven with a short black beard braided into multiple threads and beaded ritualistically. The beads signify enemies killed in hand-to-hand battle.
Eyes: Dark grey, almost black with a metal eye-patch over his left eye that is stapled on, not strapped. The eye patch is emblazoned with the image of House Kholl, two Kut’luch daggers crossed over a background of flame.

Born: 2364 on Qo’noS
Siblings: 1 Brother named Khain

Physical:
Do’trahk is tall, with broad shoulders and an imposing figure that reflects the many hours of training and work that a Klingon normally puts into his day. Along with his Medical Blue’s he wears leather, fingerless gloves that are reinforced at the knuckles with metal strips, a Great House sash signifying his House and Rank with honors, and at his side is his House blade, a Kut’luch, a dagger more commonly associated with assassins in the Klingon culture and designed to inflict terrible and painful mortal wounds. His voice is deep and strong as is common with a Klingon and his bald head shows a few faint scars from his battles.

Personality:
He tends to be rather dismissive of the Federation and it’s aligned species in general, and as is common with Klingons he values honor and self reliance, of standing up for what he believes in. He has little patience for those that waste his time, and has a large preference to come straight to a point instead of talking around an issue.

Interests:
Honor, battle, history and Klingon rituals. He has a collection of Klingon and other species weapons, mainly hand to hand, which he displays in his quarters and office.

Recent Background:
Do’trahk is a Captain of his House, he commands the I.K.S. K’ratos as the second Son of Kholl. Trained in medicine by his house, he took on the role of surgeon and doctor as he rose through the ranks to finally take on the Captaincy of his own vessel. Most recently the Klingon Chancellor chose a number of notable warriors from the Great Houses to take part in an exchange program where they would serve on board Starfleet vessels as Department Heads in an effort to better understand Federation ways and perhaps bring about some technical improvement in their own systems, which while not bad, had room for improvement.

Medical:
Take your pick, he’s Klingon. He has had his share of Klingon Measels and injuries, and most notably lost his left eye along with his brother in a matter of honor and love which neither talk about to this day.

Service History:
2379: Undergoes the Klingon Right of Passage and becomes and adult. Completes medical training and serves as Medic, Surgeon and Doctor as well as a Warrior on board a number of Klingon vessels.
2389: Appointed First Officer of the I.K.S K’ratos
2391: Receives the role of Captain of the I.K.S K’ratos, a Klingon Battlecruiser, after the Captain, his cousin, is killed in battle.
2394: Enters an Officer Exchange program and his given the Starfleet rank of Lieutenant, and appointed Chief Medical Officer of the Ark Angel after completing a Medical evaluation at Starfleet Medical on Earth.
