Steve was born in Bloomington, Indiana. The same place that Captain Janeway was born. He grew up in Starfleet since his parents were both officers. They moved around a lot because of his parents and especially his father. Their last place of residence before he entered Starfleet was at the Academy in San Fransico, CA.
