Adrian Walker-Matthews (Match)

Character Biography

Joining Starfleet in 2381, as a black-ops specialist during the Borg Invasion, bouncing from cube to cube trying to break the Collective down from the inside, newly-promoted Captain Adrian Walker-Matthews started his career as a tactically-minded Lieutenant who was often the leader of risky away team missions, most of which the crew were unsure of whether they would make it out alive. Weapons, technology and a smattering of engineering skill makes Walker-Matthews, often referred to as ‘Match’ by his close friends and senior staff of some of his old commands, a true example of an ‘all-rounder’ officer. Despite this, Match often misses his days as a combat officer, as much as he does enjoy a more ‘peace-time’ like situation in space in the years since both the Dominion War and Borg Invasion, but the grizzled officer does often find himself missing the days where he had to keep a phaser rifle closer to his chest.

In terms of his family life, Adrian lives in the mountains of Bloomington Indiana, along with his wife, a Chief Medical Officer on board a exploratory Starship, the USS Oxbridge, Doctor Sarah Walker-Matthews as well as his children Jack, an 11 year old boy and Ace, a 14 year old daughter. Being a farm boy before years of combat grizzled his emotions, Adrian is also a huge animal person and owner of two American Bulldogs, Max and Amber. He is also an avid horse rider and took any chance he could get in between combat drills to ride on the Holodeck.
