Academy Years (ages 16-20) 2372-2376:
Rank: Cadet

Once he graduated from High School, Bryson was accepted into the Starfleet where he was put onto the Engineering and Operations track.
During these four years he learned the basics of what it meant to be an engineer and operations officer. These years were highly uneventful, and Bryson Erin graduated in the top 35 percent of his class.

First Assignment: USS Viking (ages 20-23) 2376-2379:

(Year 1) (20-21)

After graduating the Academy, Bryson was given his first assignment as an Operations Officer on board the USS Viking. He worked off the bridge and behind the scenes his first year out of the academy. His duties were running systems analysis, code writing, computer technician, and taking inventory of the supplies in the Cargo Bays.

(Year 2) (21-22)

Bryson began to get comfortable after his first year out of the academy and was taking on more roles, such as liaison to engineering for beta shift, and beginning duties on the bridge. He also took on some duties in engineering such as helping to maintain the alignment of the warp core and environmental controls

(Year 3) (22-23)

Bryson was promoted to Lieutenant JG at the beginning of his 3rd year on the USS Viking. By this time, he was very familiar with the Viking’s Engineering and Operational systems which landed him the role of Beta Shift Leader for the Operations Department. He worked closely with the ship’s Chief Operations Officer and Chief Engineer while in this capacity.

Second Assignment: USS Triton (23-28) 2379-2384:

(Year 1) (23-24)

After being on the USS Viking for 3 years, Bryson was transfered to the USS Triton where he served as the Assistant Operations Officer and the Alpha Shift Leader for the Engineering Department. While in this position, Bryson maintained the administrative side of the Operations Department. He led all inventory teams, maintained the duty rosters, along with taking on Bridge Duty. Bryson began studying for the Advancement Officer Test and Bridge Officer Exams during this time.

(Year 2) (24-25)

After his first year on the Triton, Bryson passed the Exams and was promoted to Lieutenant and given the role of Chief Operations Officer on board the USS Triton. He finally began to work with the Senior Staff and with the Command of the ship. His first year as a Department Head, Bryson tried to impress his commanding officer and his hard work would eventually pay of later on.

(Year 3-5) (25-27)

Bryson continued to prevail as the Chief Operations Officer aboard the Triton. The officer begun to catch the eye of other COs as he participated in more missions over the year. During his last year on the Triton, Bryson was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and eventually transferred to Starfleet Command as a staff officer.

Third Assignment: Starfleet Command- Operations Division 2384-2388

(Year 1-4) (27-31)

While serving as a Staff Officer at Starfleet Command, Bryson gained experience in Multi-fleet Operations, and was even aide to Vice Admiral Vorex, the Operations Division Commander. Lieutenant Commander Erin also received training in Tactical and Emergency Medical while attending a conference at Starfleet Academy.

Fourth Assignment: Starfleet Academy 2388-2388

(Year 1) (32)

After serving 4 years as aide to Vice Admiral Vorex, now…Commander Erin… was transferred to the Academy to train incoming cadets in the field of Operations. There he took and passed the Command Officer’s Exam that allowed him to begin training for a First Officer position.

Fifth Assignment: USS Saracen 2388-2389

(Year 1) (32-33)

Bryson soon found himself on the USS Saracen as its First Officer. During his first mission, the Saracen found themselves in a paranormal activity, when strange things began to happen around the ship. The Commander soon found himself being dragged down the corridor. It turned out that there was no ghost, but an unknown alien was behind the acts. Later, Bryson and the crew were trapped in a holodeck with zombies.

Sixth Assignment: USS Olympic 2389-2390 (33-34)

Bryson was promoted to Captain at the end of his zombie mission. Sadly, his first mission ended when the Ferengi destroyed the Olympic. Captain Erin was asked to participate in a mission that would destroy the lives of innocent people. When he decided to do so, he was demoted to Commander, and sent to the USS Vanguard.

Seventh Assignment: USS Vanguard/Wolverine 2390-Present (34- )

Bryson spent a few months on the Vanguard, before the ship was decommissioned. In its place came the USS Wolverine, a Brazen Class ship. He had no desire to return to the big chair, and found out once more that a First Officer had perks. His ex-wife had decided to temporarily join the crew as its Intel Officer, and Bryson spent the better part of her stay on the Bridge, or in the lounge trying to dodge her. During the Wolverine’s third mission, Bryson was temporarily reassigned as the Operations Manager, but then left the ship to deal attend to his son’s needs while his mother partook in a deep space assignment. When is ex-wife returned, Bryson was reassigned to the Wolverine as the XO.

Medical History:

Bryson was born three months early. He broke his arm at age 12 and fractured his foot at age 16.
He gets regular check ups, and no major illnesses.

Mental State:

He never met his mother so Bryson really never had a mother figure. He married his wife, once he found out she was pregnant with their son, something he never told anyone.
