Viveca Arlander

Character Biography

Viveca was born on the Moon, specifically in Tycho City. Her father was a well-respected engineer who often bounced between shipyards in the Sol system as well as within Starfleet. Viveca’s mother was a civilian doctor with a thriving practice on the moon. Viveca’s paternal grandfather was retired Vice-Admiral Harald Arlander.

While Viveca spent most of her childhood on the Lunar colony, she accompanied her father when permitted to various shipyards. At 18, she applied and was accepted at Starfleet Medical Academy. After her medical training, she served on a few ships, notably the USS Kingston and the USS Halifax, before returning to the medical academy to take a specialty in psychiatry.

After completing her psychiatry specialty, Viveca was reassigned to the USS Yorktown as her counselor for a year before transferring to the USS Vancouver for six months. She has recently joined the academy training program aboard the USS Challenger to assist in training the next crop of cadets.

Physical Appearance:

Viveca is almost exactly what one would picture when talking about a Viking. As her family originated in Norway, she possesses light blond hair and striking blue eyes. She keeps her hair long, but styled in a braid during duty hours. She is also quite tall and athletic.
