Origins:
The Hu famaly can trace there liniage back to the founding if Mti wa Wakati Ujao (The Tree of Futures) some three hundred years ago. After their world became a fully recognized Colony Worls the Hu family worked tightly with other families to found their local Merchant and Trader Guild.

By the time Rikia’s great grandfather was a young hatchling, his father and mother entered in to a series of marriage contracts with two other families. The Wani family, another powerful merchant famaly and the Um family, one of the most powerful political families in Aurelian Society.
Rikia’s mother, as part of this marriage contract, married in to the Wani family and settled on the family estate of the Um family (on Aurelia).

Personal History:

Born April 2352, Rikia was namd by her great grandmother. After a review by the leaders of the Um family, she was accepted in to the marriage contract and betrothed to Rawda um, the eldest son of the Um family. Rikia’s career was chosen for her by Madam Lisatina Um, the current Matriarch of the Family.

When Rikia was five years old, she was taken from her family and entered in to the elite Mbawa Za Dhahabu Academy. Here she would attend classes along side some of the most predominant children across the ten Aurelian worlds. During short breaks and holidays, Rikia would return home to spend time with her family before returning to school.

When she was thirteen, Rikia was accepted in to the Prestigious Youth Diplomatic Corps. Here she would apprentice under many brilliant negotiators, diplomats and ambassadors. While working within the YDC, Rikia was able to see the internal workings of the Federation and Aurelian governments.
