Physical Description
With curly, ebony hair that gets terribly frizzy the more humidity is introduced to it, Zerin runs on the small side for a Vulcan with broad shoulders that tilt more forward than they should. His build, overall, is stocky and compact with decent physical prowess that falls squarely average on the Starfleet physical requirements for Vulcans. If it wasn’t for the 24th century’s ability to replicate perfectly tailored clothing for the individual, he would find himself terribly in-between sizes and end up shopping between multiple sections. In fact, he often has to on planets that insist on producing their clothes the old-fashioned way as a display of pride in traditional textile skills. His eyes are similarly dark to his hair, framed by the sweeping eyebrows and pointed ears that his species is known for.
Pre-Service History
Hailing from the province of Raal, Zerin’s immediate family bears little-to-no recent connection to any of the great clans that boast a connection to Surak or other important figures. Instead, his parents immigrated back from one of Vulcan’s colonies to follow his mother’s career in marine biology, seeking to study the species in the near-by Voloth Sea. His father, on the other hand, maintained his career in counseling from a distance until he was able to fully shift the majority of his patient load to those that resided on the same planet.
