Background:
Yolan, was on Earth as part of the Interspecies Medical Exchange when he was called to serve with Starfleet due to his exceptional interspecies medical training and is currently assigned to the USS Asimov as it’s Chief Medical Officer.

When Denobula was admitted into Starfleet in 2383, Yolan was one of the first to apply and admitted into Starfleet Academy. With all of Yolan’s years in the Medical Exchange Program, he did not need to go to the Academy but thought it would be an experience to write home about. During his time at the Academy, he learned the Klingon language as well as picking up the game of Parrises Squares. Yolan really enjoyed his time at the Academy and one day wishes to go back and teach there.

Yolan loves to learn about other species and comes off rather rude and harsh sometimes which he is unaware of being until told. His facial features, especially his smile sometimes scares people but he is one to reassure them that he means nothing by it. Yolan has an affinity for Earth in all it’s glory and wishes to remain Yolan loves his holocamera and will always have it with him to capture his adventures and send them home to his family.

Yolan has three wives, each having three children. All of his family lives on Denobula with there other husbands. Periodically one of his family members will come aboard to visit.
