Sebastian was born the middle child of Lt. Col. Henry and Aurora d’Aramis on Earth in 2372. He can trace his family roots as far back as 17th century France. His ancestor was Henri d’Aramis, a nobleman that was the inspiration for the character Aramis in Alexandre Dumas’ novel The Three Musketeers.

When Sebastian was 7 years old his father went missing during the Battle Of Vulcan in 2381. After years of waiting, Starfleet could not give his family an explanation of what happened, only telling them it was classified information. A bright young man, Sebastian began his own investigation only to run into roadblocks time and time again. He decided the best way he was to ever get closure was to enter Starfleet and specialize in intelligence. He felt this would give him access to the classified info he needed.. At the age of 17, he applied and was accepted into Starfleet Academy.

Early in his career, he eventually found the information he so desired and shared it with his immediate family so that they may all have closure.
