Born: 2365, Memorial Hospital, San Francisco.
Parents: Commander Conor McGregor, Starfleet Security; Maria McGregor (deceased)

Career Timeline:
2383: Enrolls in Starfleet Academy, Security Program
2387: Graduates Starfleet Academy (With Distinction), Accepts Posting at Starfleet Security in San Francisco, doing support work for the Criminal Investigative Division.
2390: Promoted to Lt. j.g., assigned USS Genesis, Fleet 6 as Chief of Security
2391: Promoted to Lieutenant
2394: Promoted to Lt. Cmdr.
Biography:
Curious since birth, to the point he earned the nickname “Doubting Thomas” McGregor in grade school, there was really no other posting for Thomas McGregor other than Security. Guided both by the lessons imparted by his father Conor (a 20 year veteran of Starfleet Security’s investigative branch) and his favorite holonovel character Sherlock Holmes, Thomas takes almost nothing presented to him at face value and is constantly double checking things.
He stands 6’ 5” tall (or 1.98m) and weighs just 220 pounds (100 kilos), with dark black hair and brown eyes. He is proficient in all Starfleet-issue hand-held weaponry, and holds additional training with knives and martial arts (a black belt in aikido).
He is single and for the most part un-interested in pursuing a relationship. He even has several personal rules against it (albeit ones pilfered from another fictional investigator).
He is looking forward to advancing his career with a tour on the Genny, and hopes the ship’s crew can keep out of the sort of trouble that involves breaking the law, especially since the designer of the Manhattan-class apparently didn’t think to include a Brig!
