Stark Nightstalker

Character Biography

Stark is 171cm, 65kg, jet black with black eyes (unusual for his species) and a white stripe down his face from an old injury that he doesn’t talk about. His parents were both ambassadors and died in service to Starfleet. He got his name of Nightstalker by tracking down and assasinating his parents killers in an unsanctioned strike on the dark side of a moon where they’re murderers were hiding out. After a stint as the Athena’s XO he was taken out of Starfleet for a time to go deep cover trying to break into Section 31 but went rogue for a while because he started to sympathize with their cause and one female operative in particular. Details were classified and no one knew what happened after that until Stark mysteriously reappeared with a pardon on the Athena as Chief Intelligence Operative.
As details began to emerge on the Athena it was discovered that Stark had been experimented on by Section 31 operative Archimedes who had nanites installed within Stark. These nanites were capable of using local power sources to create an anti-detection field around Stark making him difficult to find with normal sensor equipment. However the implant in his brain that controlled them also had a built in kill switch making Stark vulnerable to instant termination. S’Raal his nephew over time managed to remove the implant and the nanites but it remains to be seen whether or not they have any lasting physiological effects.
It turns out that even before these events Archimedes had used genetic modification on one of his operatives enabling her to bend Stark to her will using Orion pheromones. Stark, S’Raal and his vulcan wife T’Pon had a showdown with this operative where she was nearly successful in getting Stark to kill T’Pon. S’Raal intervened and temporarily released from the operatives mind control Stark hunted her down and made sure she would never do that to anyone else again.
Archimedes was still at large until recently when to everyone’s surprise it turned out that in his former life he was Kallen Reese’s older brother Michail. Fearing that Kallen was going to be used to force him to do even worse things than he had already Michail/Archimedes turned to his former enemy Stark to protect her. In an epic battle with a cyBorg of his own devising both Michail and Stark were mortally wounded. The cyBorg Stephen regained his humanity sufficiently to self destruct leaving S’Raal, Stark’s nephew and Liam another doctor racing against time to save the lives of the pair. A mysterious presence healed Stark and Michail linking them for a time leaving both of them with a deeper appreciation of each others lives. Michail was incarcerated and happily so as he had been finally reunited with his sister. Stark is currently delving through his memories of the powerful presence that saved them starting from when she saved him as a seven year old lost in the desert, occasionally he awakes at night smelling wild flowers…
