______________________________ BACKGROUND:

Rivar was born in a typical Trill family on the home world of Trill, growing up in a family that had members that where part of the federation for generations, following in the steps much in the same way, joined Star Fleet, while going through the Trill joining processes at the same time. Once graduation he shortly thereafter came joined with the Calin symbiont. Rivar's personality before the joining changed little afterwards, staying an optimistic individual who found ease in the academy and eventually graduating with the rank of Lt (j.g).

Rivar spent most of his career getting promoted often and quickly, the five different lives the symbiont helped him rise quickly, getting promotion to Captain quicker than most other officers. Despite this all, Rivar has striven hard to keep his personality the dominant one, and working harder to overcome anything that may have came his way. He has often been seen when he was younger as a slight scoundrel, but through years of discipline has always shown is a good leader and willing to lead by example if need be.

Despite his dual nature, most find Rivar agreeable, and a fun individual, willing to try anything and explore the galaxy, or get in a fight if the need arises.
