Personality: John comes from a family with a long history in star fleet, the federation and Alpha Centauri in particular going back to the very founding of the federation and even earlier. as such John feels he has certain expectations for the Tollys anything short of a Captains chair or above is not considered a successful careers. John is proud of his heritage and even though technically human like most natives of Alpha Centauri he considered himself Centauri and will sometimes bristle at being called human or being asked what part of earth he’s from. He can be a workaholic and can let his career goals keep him from making lasting relationships. He is however loyal to a fault to his friends.
