Character Biography

Born in Phoenix, AZ. Amy is the oldest child of Andrew and Bethany. Shortly after her birth, Andrew and Bethany relocated to Telluride, CO. Andrew commuted to Denver, daily working as a government official. Bethany was a stay at home mom, making sure that the kids were cared for and the house was well kept.
Amy’s childhood was relatively carefree, her surroundings afforded her the ability to satisfy her curiosity. Amy was definitely adventurous. At the age of 10, Amy was out horseback riding, the horse was startled by a snake and threw Amy down the ravine. Amy fell approximately 30 feet, seriously injuring her left arm.
Once found, she was taken to Children’s Hospital in Denver. After many surgeries, Amy was sent home in a cast, Bethany and Andrew were told that it was going to take time and there were no guaruntees that the arm would heal properly. Amy would have to work hard to regain full use of it.
Within days of her returning home, she was back out on the horse and riding. Simply accepting her situation and doing what she could to heal. Amy enjoyed being out of doors and there was very little that would stop her from doing what she loved.
In school, Amy found that she enjoyed the mechanical side of things and took as many classes as she could that allowed her to build things or repair things. Amy was one of the few girls in the mechanics class. During the summers, Amy put her skills to use working in a local shop and repairing engines and building engines.
After high school, Amy decided to join Star Fleet and studied engineering. Deciding that this would be her area of focus during her second year. Amy found that she fit in well and was good at working with the warp engines. Amy graduated from the Academy and was assigned to the USS Rogue and has been there ever since.
With the decommissioning of the Rogue, Amy has transferred to the USS Viking and has married her childhood sweetheart who has joined her on the ship.
