Character Biography

Unlike her husband, Shari did not have the best childhood. From day one of her memories, she has learned that in order to gain happiness, one must often resort to unpleasant means. At a young age, she was sold into slavery by her father in order to get money to pay off a debt. During that time, she was abused and grew up learning how to take care of herself before anyone else. Growing up in a gang, she learned such things like how to make a good deal, how to subvert the law, how to manipulate people, and many more ‘uncouth’ lessons. Her master used her pheromones to manipulate his clients, something that she later would use against him. Using many of the same methods that he had inadvertently taught her, she gained allies within his organization and ended up eliminating him. She then broke away with a small group of ‘loyalists’ and started up her own ‘business’. For a few years, business was good. They gained new members and expanded. That was when she received a job to gain certain information from a high ranking Starfleet officer. She decided that in order to achieve this, she would use the officer’s son. After gaining his attention at a Starfleet banquet, she started the process of seducing him in order to gain the trust of the family. However, as time went on, she found herself developing real feelings for him (much to her annoyance). Eventually his good will made her feel so guilty that she broke down and confessed. She was surprised when he decided to give her a second chance, and decided that she would always support him, no matter what.

Her organization still exists due to her believing in her methods, but she decided that they would at least be honourable criminals, and try to be separate them from those who had no morals. She lives with her husband, usually ‘setting up shop’ around where they settle down. This way, she can support her husband using her methods (while making sure that he does not finding out about them).
