Bio: Tenzing was born in Sri Leo, South Africa on Earth. During his younger years, Tenzing spent his days in a book or helping his father work on the shuttle they owned. That is where he got his first tasting for fixing things up. It wasn’t until he entered High School, that Tenzing began to have interests in not only fixing shuttles, but also learning how each system worked, and how they interacted with each other. By the time Tenzing Trainor entered Starfleet Academy at 16, he had already logged over 1000 hours in shuttle and system repairs.

During the end of his third year, Tenzing was chosen to join the Red Squad and participate in the shakedown cruise with the USS Albert Einstein. While patrolling along the Romulan border, an energy wave transported the ship to the Andromeda Galaxy’s Delta Quadrant. There, they were captured and the officers were killed.
Eventually, Tenzing was given command of the USS Albert Einstein. Over the next year and a half, the AE went through hell. After a year in the Andromeda Galaxy, Tenzing was a able to persuade local species to rise up against the Harvester invaders. While they did not succeed, the Einstein was able to escape… where the surviving cadets (9 out of 80) woke up on the USS Olympic in the year 2390, 10 years into the future.

During his first mission with the USS Chimera, the ship was sent to the Andromeda Galaxy, in an alternative universe, and in a different time period. Q had everyone’s mind succumb to a guilty state, and Betazoids were impacted the worse. When Captain Allen decided not to go after the lost Cadet, Tenzing began to resent her for it.
Once Starfleet Command approved the Ark Angel’s mission into the Andromeda Galaxy, Tenzing was transferred there as the Diplomatic Adviser. It was during this time that Trainor was able to rescue the Cadet and return her to the Milkyway. Tenzing was transferred to the Operations Department once the mission into the Andromeda Galaxy was completed, eventually becoming the Chief of Operations. In 2398, while stationed aboard the Ark Angel, Tenzing encountered Q once more. The two had a history extending back to when Trainor was acting Captain on the USS Albert Einstein. Having felt slighted by Q for not returning them home, Tenzing made several remarks that may have offended Q. In turn, Q whisked the Lieutenant Commander away and placed him on the USS Atlantis. Not only did Tenzing find himself on a new ship, but it appeared Q had transformed Trainor back into his 19 year old self.

Personal:
Though not a fully outgoing person, Tenzing will reach out to people… when he feels the wanting/need to. The Lieutenant is highly ambitious and will never opt out of an opportunity to volunteer for anything.
Psychological- Tenzing highly claustrophobic. Sure he can go through the jeffries tubes without an incident, but anything tighter than 2 feet will drive him up the wall. In order to combat this anxiety, the Lieutenant would make sure that the space was properly lit… with a flashlight or some other light source. Pretty much, light will cure the fight.

Medical:
Tenzing was infected by a virus that had put nearly the entire crew into a coma. The crew of the Enterprise (kirk) was able to put the virus to sleep. Eventually, after coming back to the Federation the doctors were able to cure him.
Mental:
Tenzing has PTSD from the events that unfolded while in the Andromeda Galaxy. He lost a lot of great friends. Tenzing also holds resentment for not trying to save the Cadet stuck in an alternative universe.

Family:
Tenzing’s twin brother, Ryan Trainor, is the Chief Engineer aboard the USS Manhattan. Because Tenzing was transported 10 years into the future, Ryan Trainor is 29, where Tenzing is 19 (now 22).
