Biography:

Ch’zaolrirh was born to the west of the Tharan Mountains within Andoria’s Kul’Tan region in 2XXX. He belongs to lesser known Keth of merchants, freighter, and ice cutter operators. All four of his parents were Andorians of the same Keth. His fathers were both freighter operators who co-managed the Keth’s most prominent freighter business. While neither of them held the position of lodge master, they were still influential in the clan’s politics. When Ch’zaolrirh was seven, one of his fathers passed away from sudden medical trauma. Following the death, his remaining father buried himself into their freighter business to make up for the loss. As a result, his immediate family’s influence waned in the Keth.

Outside of this unfortunate event, Ch’zaolrirh’s childhood was very much that of a typical Andorian: lodge life, team sports, dueling, and ultimately at the age of 16, entrance into one of the Keth’s trades as an apprentice. As was expected of him, Ch’zaolrirh chose to join his father’s freighter business. The risks and challenges of freighter work validated much of the Andorian principals he had learned in his youth. Loyalty, stamina, and suspicion were key to survival in deep space. Some of the more violent aspects of the Andorian culture he had learned through “sports” were also put to use aboard the freighters. When met with pirates or other hostiles he was taught to fight to the teeth and on more than one occasion he and his crew mates had done just that - laying booby traps, destroying cargo, and ambushing would be boarding parties.

Alongside freighter runs Ch’zaolrirh split his time completing his formal education on Andoria. By 22 he wrapped up his studies and returned to full time work with his father running freighters to and from Denas Starport. The Starport was a gateway to other culltures for the Andorian. Not only was he able to encounter and watch other citizens of the Federation, but he also became familiar with Star Fleet. Within a year’s time the Andorian found himself enrolling in Star Fleet academy. The first two years of his studies were completed from a satellite campus on Andoria which was preferred by most Andorian students. Graduating early thanks to a condensed curriculum on Andoria, the last year his studies were completed on Earth. He graduated from the academy as a qualified ensign with a focus in security and investigative details.

Following his graduation, Ch’zaolrirh was assigned to a security team aboard a federation outpost for a few years before receiving a transfer to the U.S.S. Olinski.
