TJ is the identical twin brother of his older brother Alex Rivers III. He possesses callouses on his hands from his engineering work and other hobbies. He keeps his hair short so as he put it can’t get in the way. He prefers the old school look of a t-shirt and overalls. But, Starfleet insists on a standard uniform. And like his older brother is left handed.
General Overview
He had always tried to be different than his older brother. As with most close siblings he does show some shared values. But unlike his brother he is far more confrontational and won’t hesitate to fight. It is usually his first option.
Strengths and weakness
TJ has an uncanny ability to repair almost anything. He is also an inventor; also one of his many hobbies.
Weakness
At this point in his life, he is slightly over emotional. He is prone to getting in trouble. He has major problems with authority stemming from his interaction with his father Alex Sr. and brother Alex Jr. He like to refer to them as the two Alex’s
Ambition
As of right now, he is trying to find himself professionally and personally. He wants to be someone other than the two Alex’s
Hobbies
TJ has a constant facination with anything that moves. He has tinkered around with various forms of transportation. He is especially fond of restoring and upgrading classic automobiles. He also enjoys athletics. He played football in high school. He works on his many inventions in his spare time as well. It is one of the ways to keep him occupied.

History-Personal
TJ began his career in sports at the urging of his father. He wasn’t always happy about playing. When he didn’t play well his father would become angry. He would have quit if given a choice. He was not happy about his name he had been given. He was constantly teased about it.
A couple years after graduating his personal life was once again in turmoil. His wife divorced him after finding out about an incident of infidelity with his then department head. She also took his little girl; Abigail. After he started being self destructive. A few incidents of fighting and being intoxicated took its toll. He was demoted back to ensign. He was transferred back to earth.
During that time, his niece Katey came to live with him. She was very good for his development. He adores his niece and would do anything for her. He changed a bit with her in tow. He tried to set a good example for her.
After Katey left his care, he started his destructive behavior. This ended after another brawl because of girl and a transfer to his brother’s ship the Olympic as part of the punishment.
