Family

Gruck has one brother Jake Nawim who is also serving in Star Fleet’s security division.

Education

Gruck applied to join the Academy and was accepted into the Science Division. While at the Academy, Gruck excelled in his course and ended up being posted on the USS Asimov where he served as the Chief Science Officer for a short period, earning a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade. Upon leaving the Asimov, Gruck decided to follow a different path and applied for the academy where he was accepted into the Security Division.
